Munition and Firearms Manufacturer Pulls the Trigger on WeldView Portable Monitor, Proves Quality and Eliminates Destructive Testing

Remington’s resistance welding manufacturing engineers called WeldComputer to assess the quality of their welding machine. The WeldView Portable Monitor was utilized to record weld quality metrics for each weld. Without the monitor, the Remington team lacked the level of detail they needed for every weld and had relied on periodic destructive testing to measure weld quality. Utilizing the data captured with the monitor, problems were pinpointed and it was determined the machine did not need to be replaced. Additionally, the team realized that the data allowed them to eliminate destructive testing.
