RESISTANCE WELDING ONSITE EVALUATION

We’ll analyze your resistance welding operation to identify problems and offer solutions to solve your production problems.

Your optimal resistance welding operation is one call away

With a wealth of experience in analyzing resistance welding operations, WeldComputer offers practical solutions to tackle production challenges faced by manufacturers. During a comprehensive two-day on-site evaluation, WeldComputer utilizes advanced monitoring equipment to conduct a rigorous assessment of the resistance welding operation at the manufacturer’s facility.

This process identifies issues that contribute to subpar welds, diminished weld quality, and excessive downtime. Following an assessment, actionable recommendations are provided to proactively prevent defective welds from going unnoticed in production, enhance weld quality, and minimize production costs and machine downtime.

Trust WeldComputer’s undisputed experts

The on-site services provide your manufacturing operation with insights and knowledge about the resistance welding process that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Our experts have decades of experience and are able to present resistance welding concepts to every technical ability to make each finding and recommendation concise and easy to understand. During the demonstration, these techniques will be showcased on the manufacturer’s machine(s) while quantifying the capabilities of the production machine(s).

Here’s what you will learn:

  • How to check the electrical and mechanical health of a welding machine in the time it takes to perform one weld;
  • Recognize if excessive friction or binding of the electrode/ram assembly exists, that would adversely affect production;
  • Recognize when a shift in the welding process occurs as soon as it happens, to prevent the ongoing production of questionable welds and to avoid the consequential losses associated with not immediately detecting the problem;
  • Quickly determine if the cause of a process shift is attributed to the machine or to the part, so that the source of the problem can be rapidly  pinpointed  and  corrected  without incurring unnecessary downtime;
  • Rapidly determine the optimum heat and time settings to use for production, without the need to perform multiple destructive tests; and,
  • Instantly measure the consistency of every weld, without performing destructive tests that waste material and slow down production.

Test a Proof of Concept in Your Factory

Not convinced the WeldComputer Control will work for you? Test it out in your facility on your machine and see for yourself!

With our evaluation offer, the WeldComputer team will work with you to temporarily hook up a fully functioning welding control to your weld machine so you can see the results for yourself, without having to make a capital equipment investment to see proof. Let us help you solve your power, welding quality, and/or control reliability problems, and prove it to you on your own equipment.
