WeldComputer Welcomes Clifford Machines as OEM Partner; Expands Services and Support in South Africa, Globally

WeldComputer Corporation today announced that Clifford Machines and Technology (Pty) Ltd., of South Africa, is the latest OEM partner to join its global team.  The partnership extends WeldComputer’s presence in the region and allows Clifford to supply a broad range of high-performance, advanced welding control and monitoring solutions for their line of mesh and grating welding machines.

Clifford Machines works with manufacturers and suppliers around the world where advanced resistance welding is a significant part of the production process.  For those customers, energy consumption, efficiency, and load balancing are often critical factors driving design considerations.  Unless they are properly monitored and controlled, fluctuations can introduce variation in weld quality, and significantly increase production, quality control, and related costs.

The development of newer, digital technologies, data capture, and connectivity across the factory floor to lower costs, increase efficiencies, and improve product quality – sometimes referred to as ‘smart manufacturing’ – is also driving demand for WeldComputer solutions globally.

Known for creating sophisticated, computer-based process weld controls, sensor technologies, and specialized electronic signal processing, WeldComputer is one of the only solution providers able to use and capture process data in real-time and make it available to clients’ manufacturing execution system (MES) or other analytics and supplier data platforms.
